Thomas Sudell is a graduate of Oxford University (2015) where he specialised in Old English (Anglo-Saxon). His dissertation on Tolkien’s use of Old English metre in The Fall of Arthur was subsequently published in Tolkien Studies, Vol. 13. His translations of Anglo-Saxon poetry have since appeared in Littoral Magazine, Areopagus, Briefly Zine, Eternal Haunted Summer, Seaside Gothic, and the New College 2025 Arts Anthology (Oxford University) with other work appearing in Carmina Magazine and Illuminations of the Fantastic.
